my tacoma didnt come with stock foglights so i was gonna pick some up from autozone and since id want them on whenever the headlights are on, would it be a terrible idea to splice the wires from the fog lights to the lights to the headlights? if so, where would be a good spot to splice them in?

gray wire mod, blacked out, debadged, toolbox foglights, cb in dash, system, bilstein 5100's in front wrapped in eibach coils, 5125's in the rear with 2 inch aal and 1 inch shackle, diff drop kit, extended rear brake line, 8000 lb smittybuilt winch on a custom winch bumper, 2 4 inch 100 watt kc's and 2 6 inch 100 watt kc's on the bumper, sometimes a ladder rack, much more to come
if you buy them from auto zone they might be a beam that shines to high to run all the time. if they are the more off road looking lights i know they come with a switch to use.. but if your set on wiring them with the headlights id probably look into wiring them into the same switch that you turn lights on with

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
something you may look in to is. you’r truck is prob pre wired for stock fogs. so all you would need to do is get the switch and the lights them selfs. but you truck may not be. if it is you just have to take the black cup in the bumper out. and put the the lights in and hook the switch up.
