Nevermind.....took out the rubber seal from the OEM's and put them on the new ones. Very nice fog yellow.

Did you remove the fogs and get it done in that time frame?

Yep takes less than a minute on each light to pop them out, clean, and paint. Waited longer on dry time than anything.

That's good to hear. I was looking at the fog lights yesterday and it seemed like it would be tough getting them out.

I need to search for some pics or a walkthrough...

I absolutely swear by Yellow fogs! Soooo much easier to see in fog and dust. Of course you have to do the "Fog anytime" mod but I wouldn't have it any other way!

They especially are nice for times like my sig pic! Last race I did retrieval for, I tried to run my 4 Hella HID but they reflected off the dust and blinded me. I relied on my PIAA 510 HID and they worked great!

I have a pair of cheap 3000k fogs of ebay. They came with a lifetime warranty and have been workin fine for over a year now.

maybe this is a dumb question, but if you paint the stock lens covers, you spray the inside, right? Thinking it would be optimal to spray them yellow, AND install some yellow bulbs!!!

No, cuts down on effective light. MOT has laminx and yellow hid, I just have the hid and mine were much brighter.

^ agreed.. i have laminex and yellow hid. it did cut down on output.. i liked the yellow look hence why i added the laminex. but during the time when i only had the HIDs, they were brighter.

Just spray outside lens cover with Krylon Stained Glass Translucent Paint 9024 Yellow. 6oz spray can. Arts & Crafts store like Michael's. They'll be plenty yellow.

I was unable to get them out last night. With two herniated discs, I should probably hold off on twisting around under the truck...:(

Anyway, it looked like there was a round clip on the inside off the light that just needed to be pushed in, and I assume a corresponding clip on the outside edge of the housing as well? Is there a clip of sorts on the bottom, at/near the aiming screw?
