Send a message via AIM to whippersnapper02
Link to the kit would help.

I've been looking at those on e-bay as well - The seller is DT Moto.
From what I can tell, it seems there are two versions of lights sold on e-bay. One has the plastic lens cover as a cup that attaches over the rear black housing and the other has a flat lens cover that is somehow fused to the rear housing. I can't explain it better than that as I'm only looking at photo's online.
Do yours look exactly like the photo in the listing you linked to?? Those seem to be the lens cover as a cup version. How do you like them?? Are they pretty solid??

If you can post up some pics of your install. I have been looking at these too but wondered about the quality. Last set of lights I bought for my old F150 on ebay were crap. Hoping thats not the case here.

I'm installing the same lights and need a little help. I have everything hooked up, but they don't light up. I checked my connections with a meter and found juice at the green wire, white wire, and fuse relay, but not at the white connector on the red wire. The indicator light on the switch doesn't light up either. The fuse is good and I can measure power there as well. Any suggestions on what to do?

Does it matter which parking light wire I connect the green to?
I went with green because the wiring diagram for my truck shows that as the hot one and the white/black as ground.

white goes to a 12v source coming from the batt and ur green wire goes to a parking light lead..ull find that coming out of a plug under the dash.. u g2 unbolt that plastic cover under the steering wheel. i looked at the color wire actually going to the parking light then found the same color wire under the dash and use a meter to find which one got power once the parking lights came on.. splice ur green wire into that

I hooked it to the green wire at the back of the driver's side parking light. It goes under the dash?

Thanks dayNnight4, you had me convinced I was on the right track so I rechecked everything and finally focused in on the switch. The contacts were bent backwards and missing where they were supposed to go. Now it's fixed.

The cover is easy to pry off, and the button just pulls straight out.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the switch LED color is green. Here is my quick and dirty almost-amber mod.

I pulled the switch button off and cleaned off the overspray black on the backside to make it brighter. Then I colored the appropriate places with a red sharpie. Now it's almost amber and not so green. It looks more amber in person than in the picture.

Glad you got them working.
Yes it does matter. If you don't use the green one and the bulb burns out you wont have power. It's like the old X-mas lights one bad bulb and the whole string is out. I didn't use a switch on mine and just wired the switch leg of the relay to the running lights and use them as daytime running lights.
