ddm help

So I got it all wired in and working but my lights stay on all the time the brights and lows work but whens the lights are off there still on?

 

I had the same problem, it was a bad relay

 

I have to order one of them off the internet don't I?

 

take it to autozone and get the exact same one, they should have it on the shelf! i think its a 40

 

I just got a 40a from radio shack, you should check to see if its the relay first, if you touch the bad relay the lights may flicker

Did you install a relay with the hi- low kit ?

 

Does anyone have a part number by chance apparently autozones in kentucky are run by monkeys

 

No I didn't get a relay kit it didn't say it required one

 

You can just use any relay, I just picked up a 40a auto relay from radio shack

 

I went there and asked for a 40a and they looked at me like I was stupid gotta love kentucky

 

And the relay is the little square box that comes attached to the kid kit the hid 12v relay right?

 

si si! those people are fucking idiots! its not gonna be in any book for any specific car, you just need a 40a 4 prong relay! It shouldnt be this hard to find! I literally walked into autozone about 2 weeks ago and it was right there on the shelf next to all the lights and switches! I also talked to no one, you're better off that way

 

I hear that I understand what your saying the relay but I've come to the conclusion when my lights stay one after my trucks off and the lights switch in the cab is off I can turn them on and off multiple times ad they'll work I don't know what the problem is but I can say I'll never buy DDM agine
