Yeah out here blue is for law enforcement only. Red and white for fire chiefs and assistant chiefs, and green for volunteers.

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
I have used the yellow hideaways in my reverse lights to help people on the side of the road, which is legal here. I have also pulsed them a few times when there was an accident/incident ahead of me, which isn't legal. I have never been pulled over, but I have never been rear-ended when traffic stops in a hurry. I'll take my chances with the ticket.
Do what you want with your strobes, but be mindful of the laws and reprocusions.

Guess were in the same county? LOL. Apparently NY State laws mean we can only have like 1,000 candlepower rotator blue light. So I guess my whelen dual talon is illegal LOL.

My old Rav 4 was hooked up before I got my Taco. I had 6 strobes (2 in front, 4 in back) 2 blue/clear grill lights and my dual talon. People could see me miles away. :D Even the cops one night saw me stuck behind people who "can't see me" at night, he pulled next to me with his lights on and asked if I was going to the fire call, I said yes, and he blocked the intersection and followed me to the firehouse then proceeded to the house. HAHA.

We're allowed yellow and clear in BC. I bought two for my truck because I spend a lot of time on forestry roads in the dark.

I got two with 6 led's in each. 90 bucks a piece but extremley bright.

I have used mine a ton of times while helping pull people out of the snow/driving mountain roads in snowstorms or just leaving them on if I'm out of my truck on the side of a road.

    Money well spent.

I just keep one green led dash light in the window and a red light bar on back window. I am done running wires and drilling holes all over my truck for those things. Just the bare essentials when responding to a call. and if people dont move (and they dont have to as they are courtesy lights and that is ALL) then I will get to the ambulance a minute later than usual.

Just get a bright led light like wheln and get a thin bar mounted by suction cup behind rear seat headrest whcih also holds it in place

    Good luck Be safe

All I have now is my dual blue/clear talon. I don't have the heart to drill into my new truck yet. Although my grill lights might make a comeback that will probably be it. And maybe a scanner install in the future. I rather save my money to do other things on my truck.

That makes sense since yours serve a purpose. OP said he wants them bc "they look fun" which would make them, IMO, a waste

Yea, If they don't serve a purpose I agree they would be a waste of mod money.

They are SPT .7 amp 2 diode modules (6 total per unit) aluminum body with poly-carbonate lens. I'm guessing its a local company because I could barely dig up any info on them. Very high quality though and lifetime warranty.
