Finally finished painting these guys. I am somewhat happy with the end result. Found it easier to skip masking the 'HID' letters and just painted over them. I then toon a rag with some paint thinner on it and lightly wiped away the 'black' paint to reveal the 'HID' on the light, if that is the result you are looking for. I used metal art paint, robbed from my wife and a regular hobby paint brush. I left the 'red rings' in place as I painted them, as I figured trying to hold them and paint would have been a pain in the arse!!! Hope this helps anybody who wants to get rid of the 'red ring'!!!!!!
