ihav the cluster out and apart. well im asuming that the needles pull straight up and off i dont want to pull too hard, seems they are RELLY on there. also how do i keep from having he needles being off a hair after i put it back together?

lastly and most important id think, but i havent seen it in any of the "how to's" but the polarity on the board? i havent seen any markings?

Got it guys. I see the dots and the corner notch on the LEDs. First time using these "bigger" SMDs. I'm used to the 0603 for xboxes. Pretty much the ones for the radio. I got it though. Post pics soon

Generally, prior to removing the needles you are to mark their positions. It seem you didn't do that. So your best bet is to find a pic of the needles stock (off) position and set yours to that, the best you can.

There is probably a better explanation of this but you basically rotate the needles to one side until it stops, pull the needle back off and then press it back on while pointing to the right spot.

To reposition the needles move them in the opisit direction and stop it where you want it to be. Looks good
