I am in the process of adding some off road lighting to the truck. I was wondering if the only place to run the wiring for the switch through the firewall is under the drivers side dash????

I was able to get wires through the firewall next to the cable for the hood release, on the driver's side. I pushed a screwdriver through the rubber to make a hole and then pulled the wires through. Just be careful not to hit any other wires when pushing the screwdriver through.

Underneath that spagettii, if you look closer you'll find a 'tit' looking extention.

Also, above all that there is a rubber "button" which you may remove and use a hole puncher the correct size for the wire you need to pass into the cab. Punch hole into rubber button, slide wire, insert wire into firewall hole, replace button to seal all.
