Cracked Headlights... from hids??

    Tinted windows, toytec ultimate 3inch lift- front c/o rear aal, 18" black rockstar rims, 275/70/18 toyo opencountry mt's, BLUE dome light, 6000k H4 HID bixenon, kenwood kvt-514 headunit,black badges, satoshi grill :] sold it and now have a wrangler....
    just wondering if any one has experienced their headlights cracking their hids?? both of mine have cracked like hell and the only thing i can think that would cause it is the heat from the lights with a cold morning...

    i have been running ddm hi/low 35/55 in my headlights for over 2 years and no problems no fogging nothing

    when i bought my truck, a little while later i noticed my headlights were cracked from the inside. had the dealer look at it and they wrote it up as melted dtrl issue and replaced both headlights. i'm running stock bulbs from factory.

    stick with 4300 or 5k anything more than that and you will lose light fixed that for you :)

    well my first set is blown, i think both ballasts are bad so I'm waiting to get my second and throwing on matching fogs as well with the 6ks

    I had 8k and they were awsome but I took them out because the ballast got fucked up cuz they were loose. So it's not worth getting 12k then
