OK, so I've done a lot of searching here so please keep the flaming to a minimum but I can't find a quick answer to my question. I've put some clearance lights (little amber square lights) behind my lower grill and wired them up to come on with the parking lights - by using the "tail" relay method in the engine fuse box. I'd like to instead wire them to come on with the daytime running lights as well so they are on all the time (ie during the day and night). Is there a way to accomplish this while still keeping the auto-off feature where they turn off when you open the door? I don't want to have to put a switch in and then have to remember to turn it off each time. Thanks!!!
