My 2011 drivers side headlight appears to have a crack in it. The dealer wants $365 for a new one. Ouch! I noticed that the auto parts warehouse has one for half that. My truck is TRD so I need the smoke colored one. Are these quality headlight assy.? My next option would be to find a used one.

I don't think so, they're going to say it was road debris. So far it does not appear to be spreading and I don't think it leaks, but if I have to replace; if parts warehouse is close to the oem thats much better than getting taken by the dealer.

    Thanks

Generally speaking, if it's not OEM, it's not going to be the same quality as far as headlight housings go.

I'd try to find a good condition used one first.

I'll be looking on the buy forum and also post. If anyone has a oem smoked left side please let me know.
