I have a 2009 TRD Offroad - Has anyone have or had this problem. My front turn signal bulbs have been burning out. I've taken my truck into the Toyota dealership and they keep saying it's from my "aftermarket HID lights". I have the 55w conversion kit and it's been installed for almost 3 years and only now I am having this problem. The first time I took my truck in they changed the plug for the driver side and the the turn signal has been good ever since, but now the passenger side is burning out. They keep saying it's because of my HID's. Has anyone heard of this problem or have had it themselves? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I have a 2010 Tacoma TRD and just replaced my front passenger signal light and it burned the following day. I have had other electrical issues as well including the light for the temp control, cruise control not working all the time and the stereo shutting off randomly. If I hit the dash I can get the temp light to go back on when needed at night and to get the stereo to work again I just have to turn it back on. I can't see how they all could be related but not sure, I'm pretty sure it a loose ground for the dash/temp light but can't get to anything without tearing part of the dashboard off. Any ideas?

My 2012 Tacoma is doing the same thing. Left turn signal light quit. Bought pkg of 2 Sylvania bulbs. Put one bulb in, it blew that day. Put 2nd bulb in, it blew that day. When I give a left turn signal the indicator light on the dash blinks very fast. Rear left turn signal light still works.
I'm going in for an oil change and I'll let the dealer take a stab at it. I called on the phone and talked to service, first they have heard of that problem according to them. I don't believe that based on what I've seen online.
