I have a Grillcraft grill and am considering adding lights behind it. Some have said don't bother the grill will block almost all light. If you have a Grillcraft, chime in with your experience and what lights are working for you.

i dont have lights behind my grill but i dont see THAT much light being blocked, tons of guys here run lights and no one complains.

i like the look and plan to put some in sometime soon, and i think it beats buying a lightbar and risking getting your lights stolen

my friend just puts a tack on the nuts with a welder and when he wants them off he gets a dremel and cuts the weld, sounds like alot of time but better than lights being stolen,

I've got 2 7" kragens behind my Grillcraft mounted on the BDF 2nd Gen mount.
If I pull up right next to a wall I can see the cross hatch design in the light pattern but you can ask the guys who were on the Cajun Yotas trip-They are pleanty bright.

I have it install behind the grill, and I can tell you that it dose block some of the light, so now I may be think about install HID light bar on the Grill, it will be get more out of it.

It will block a little bit of the light but not a whole lot.
