    whaddup guys

I've tinted my tail lights, but not much. The light is barely dimmed from the tint.
Although, my truck didn't pass inspection because of my tail lights, the guy that was inspecting said he's been pulled over 5 times due to his tinted tail lights as well....but his must have been darker than mine! I don't want to redo my lights, cause it's a pain.

    I bought these yesterday: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...-1_-1&mn=Jam+Strait&mc=JSI&pt=N0383&ppt=C0335
and they are about the same brightness as the factory bulbs. :/

I've looked at a bunch of bulbs on Amazon and such, and no auto stores have anything else besides the bulbs I just bought.

These bulbs apparently aren't as bright either, and the reviews aren't convincing enough to buy them.

Anyone know of brighter brake bulbs online or anywhere?
    Part number: 1157

I need to get them asap.

    Thanks.

2357 will be the same brightness for tails, but the brake light will be a lot brighter.

    No options for brighter tails.

So what do they do at inspection? Do they use a light meter to read the output?

I know it may look cool, but if someone rear ends you, it's their fault....usually. In that accident, if they point out you have brake light mods, you'll likely be at fault.

    +1

Don't fuck with the safety equipment. There's a reason it did not pass inspection and it likely would not pass with 100 watt bulbs simply because it is tinted beyond factory.
