A friend of mine who works in the industry told me something about when installing an HID kit into an 09 that there are some flicker problems and the lights may shut off. He said it has something to do with the computer and what not.

He mentioned he knows a way to wire up an anti-flicker "mechanism" so that the lights do not go off.

Does anyone know about this or if this is true?

    Thanks!

I install the one with Hi-Low Beam (magnetic motor control High/Low) it cost about $220.00
But than one of my friend tell me that in my area, there is a dealer have the same kit cost only $100. If anyone wants it, I can ask him for details.

It is most likely the HID kit. I have the same problem on my 05 when I installed the Hi/Lo HID kit. One light would flicker randomly, checked the connections, even warrantied the bulb and ballast, which cured the problem. But since then I have changed to a different HID kit where it does not need to "warm" up to temp. As soon as you turn them on, it's at the correct temp/kelvin the lights are supposed to be at
