Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) bulb mounting?

**** TITLE SHOULD READ MORIMOTO MINI STAGE III KIT (H1) bulb mounting, NOT (D2S) bulb mounting

I purchased a Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (H1) from TRS but can't for the life of me figure out how to mount the actual bulb into the projector housing. What exactly is supposed to hold the bulb in the housing? Maybe I didn't receive all of my parts or something? If someone could take pics of how their bulb is held in and post them up or at least try and give me an idea of what I might be missing, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

Noobaru,

That little metal clip was included with my kit but I don't see that little mounting plate anywhere....

That mounting plate should have been screwed to the back of the projector (3 tiny screws)

Now I see it on one of the projectors but it isn't on the other projector....

Damn it!!

Can these be ordered separately?

Do you happen to know what they are called?

Happen to have any extra one by chance? (yeah right!)

Not only is it not screwed into the other projector housing, there aren't even any screws there that would have held it on.....

I would just call TRS on Monday and let them know and I am sure that they will make it right.

I guess I will call Monday morning.

On a separate note, anyone made heads or tails out of the wiring harness? It seems like there are a lot more connections than needed on this thing. Also, they include a connector by itself in a separate plastic bag. Anyone wired one of these up to a 2011 Tacoma yet?

If it makes a difference, this is what I have...

Ballasts: Morimoto 3Five
Bulbs: H1 Morimoto 3Five
Wire Harness Relay : H4/9003

The wiring harness looks wild when you pull it out but when your setting it up on the truck just follow the little stickers on each lead. I had done very little wiring before I did my retro and one I started it all made sence and actually worked when I turned em on.

The AMP connector, with red and black pigtails is a test lead. Enables you to connect to your ballast power lead and test your wiring via a 12V external power supply.

The wiring harness is fairly easy to understand...

Power from battery runs to relay, relay runs to ballast as well as stock H4 headlight sockets. High beam 12V leads should also be included in your harness as well.
