Hella 500FF hid conversion question

    I was looking todo this but before I pulled the trigger on a set of hella's I was wondering when you convert them to hid's can you still run it on a toggle switch? So they still work like factory but hids

    That's what I thought myself wanst sure though. Never hurts to ask. Would the stock wiring harness to the hella lights still work after the hid conversion? Or would you have to get another harness

    The wiring harness from the Hellas will work

    The stock bulbs in the hella 500/ 700 are 55 watts.
    Most HID conversion kits are only 35 watts. Even of you go with a 55 watt HID conversion you will still be pulling the same power as the stock bulbs that came in the Hellas
