There are tamper resistant hardware options for that.

I made the tabs so that most dual row LED bars will mount directly in front of the tube, but you can mount it any which way you want.

The tabs are radiused so they can clocked in any position you like. Almost any accessory (not limited to LED bars) can be mounted as well.

You can use as many different tabs as you want to mount multiple lights. Lights can face forward, backwards, two bars can be stacked trophy truck style. Instead of one huge LED bar, you can run multiple smaller bars. The possibilities are endless.

I would recommend that people who are planning on mounting a lot of accessories go with a .120 wall thickness tube. I keep .120 wall DOM tube in 1.00" if anybody needs.

I have some good ones that I use for my own LED bar. I can provide customers with the hardware and special tool required, but I'd like not to advertise where I got them. The less people who know about it and have access to it, the safer it is for everybody.

As far as I'm aware, 1st gens don't have provisions for mounting anything on their roofs. I can do custom in-house mounts for any truck, but they will require drilling.

Just curious how you guys are going to run the wiring for your bars when you mount these on your roof?

You can run them right along your windshield. There is a groove along your A-pillar that you can stuff the wires into. Then it just slips into your engine bay through your hood opening. Really clean and easy.

A little drilling never hurt anyone as long as it's waterproof and looks clean.

If this gets worked out for the 4Runner (03-09), I’m thinking about ordering one later in the summer.

With the light bar sticking out over the windshield, is there any issues with glare?

Are you going to offer this in raw steel or powder coated?

Do you know if the Ridged Horizontal Bar Light Mounts (1” p/n: 41040) will work on this? http://www.rigidindustries.com/product-p/horizontal%20clamp.htm Also, I am hoping you could source these mounts for a little less than $35 each.

Glare will largely depend on the beam pattern of your lights. Spots will obviously result in significantly less or no hood glare.

I've designed the rack to be as aerodynamic and forward-mounted as possible. The final mounting position of your LED's will be as low and far forward as practical for a vehicle with a glass windshield.

The racks are raw steel. Any surface finishing is up to the buyer.

Any tube mounts/tabs meant for 1" diameter tube will work.
