Anyone cat5 or higher for relays?

Has anyone used cat 5 wire or higher (cat 6 or 7) to power relays for lights and such?
I'm putting a switch panel in my sunglass holder and was trying to figure the easiest way to wire them.

Do not use solid-core conductor in a vehicle.

Stranded would work as long as it is fused appropriately, but personally I won't use anything smaller than 18ga in a vehicle simply for durability.

You can get multi-conductor 18ga cable.
