    I'm about to wire in a OTRATTW switch and want to have the backlight on it control with the dimmer switch. Looks like I can tap the wire behind the AC controls like people do for the 4x4 Illumination mod and just wanted to confirm the color wires for this mod. I'm seeing that the GREEN wire is 12V and the GREEN w/ WHITE STRIPE is the GROUND. Can anyone confirm this? If it matters i have the non-jbl set up...

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    Looks like you're right, as long as a 2010 is the same as an 05.

    Solid green is positive power, on with the tail lights. Green with white is the ground, variable through the dimmer switch on the dash.

    Awesome! I had just discovered the variable ground thing yesterday and started wiring it up. Hopefully this helps some other people looking for that info as well.

    Going to be doing the same tap for my Otrattw switch for bed lights. Hoping these wires are the same color in an 09. Nice video reference of what we're attempting on the Flyeyze site.

    grab a volt meter and check just to be sure...probe the wire you think it is and dim the dimmer, voltage should drop
