So, I went to go put my headlights in the oven, and then I realized I had a very small oven.. Haha.

Are the headlights going to be too close to the top and risk burning/frying them?? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1345768803.999009.jpg

Oh and I put mine on foil, idk if that makes a difference, I just did it cause you probably don't want the plastic sitting on the metal bars.

Put some cardboard under it. They won't burn as long as you don't keep the oven on.

It won't work. Others have tried and ruined their lights. You need to cut them apart and use apoxy to put them back together.

I stand corrected. I thought they used the same sealant to put them together. :notsure:

did it. was very easy just a little time consuming. also for 2012's the bumper has to come off to get the headlights out.

did you take off the bumper just to reach the lower headlight bolt, or was there something else in the way?

i got that bolt out just by reaching up from the bottom.. but the headlight physically wouldnt come out regardless of which way i turned/pried/twisted/pulled (even though it was not attached to anything). bumper comes off really easy and it makes that bolt really easy to take out/put in.

bumper comes off with 2 bolts in the bottom center, 1 plastic clip under the grille, 1 bolt a side into the fender.. then the 3 bolts per side that hold the inner fender in (that have to come out to get the bolt anyway).

Spruce... i couldnt get the drives side light out without removing the bumper.. even with the grille and piece under the light out. Your truck looks great by the way.. i really like the color.

Thanks yours looks good too. Before I did mine I found a video on here that showed how to do it. If I remember right you turn the light so the side marker is straight up and it pulls staight out.
