So I met up with Paul Fox, the owner behind Defiant Truck Products on Saturday to let him take some measurements of the 2012 Tacoma front end. I had a pretty good feeling that the opening in the bumper between the fog lights was still in almost the same position as the previous year Tacoma's. Almost all of Defiant's Tacoma light bars use this opening as a mounting point.

I was right, it was almost dead on. Some ever so slight tweaking to his laser cuts and it will be a nice clean fit Defiant has always offered.

I will keep everyone updated on the progress, and will post photos once the productions pieces are complete.

In the mean time, anyone with a White 2012 Tacoma looking for a light bar, contact Paul Fox at info@defianttruckproducts.com, he will need your truck for photography. (You will have to confirm with Paul, but I believe he said you will recieve an installed light bar at no charge for your time):bananadance:

FYI His shop is in Orange, CA.

This is my 2009 Tacoma with a Defiant Short Tub, 3 Tab Light Bar.

Woman from Switzerland, driving her dads car checked up 20 Feet before an intersection as the light went from green to yellow.

As a result, I put on my best o-face and slammed on the brakes, unfortunately it was too late.

The only damage to my truck was some scratched powder coat. Nothing else, not even a scuff on the bumper. The Yaris got the short end of the stick.

Witness in the second lane reported the aggressive braking by the Yaris to the Sheriff, even though when you rear-end someone its almost always your fault.

High five to Rigid and Defiant Truck Products, light still works perfect, and the bar only has cosmetic damage. True test of both these parts. :D

Their website says they are taking a leave of absense, whatever that means. They also have a Facebook page. If you send them a message through their Facebook page, it might be connected to someone's email address who can tell you when they're coming back.
