Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
I guess I'm not sure what I am looking at?

Just figured it out, you are talking about how many lumens per dollar spent. So you are comparing prices per output for the lights?

$1 USD is this many lumens in this light and this manufacturer. It's interesting but you figure the bigger light bars with the most lumens will be the best bang for your buck.

Best bang per buck, although I wonder how the quality is?

i think that is a more important question...

$ per lumen output is only a small part in deciding which bar to buy from the 10+ companies that offer their own version of the same product

I would be interested in a quality test or something too. If you buy one of those GG bars, and one of those Rigid bars. And the GG bar craps out, then you are in a worse spot than if you had just spent more money on the Rigid, provided the Rigid doesnt crap out.
** I'm not saying this would happen with the GG stuff. Just using the 2 brands as an example.**
I have a Rigid 10" bar on my Rhino, I wasn't near as impressed as I was hoping to be.

Rigid stuff does crap out. Everything on this planet craps out eventually
I think these numbers would be a huge deciding factor for me if I was in the market for a LED bar

I checked out the prices on these websites... It made me wonder why anyone would ever by rigid industries stuff. Most expensive bars and one of the lowest lumens/ $1

    Build thread in sig...

rigid bars seldom "crap out", especially when compared to the GG lights. customer service/support is also a huge factor. an astonishingly large number of people (some i know personally, some i know on here) have had issues with GG products. then they have not had any luck even contacting GG, much less getting a part warrantied. on many occasions, Rigid has replaced their products on customers vehicles when a break was clearly the owners fault (rollover, front end collision, etc). i'm not saying they do this all of the time, but they have been known to do it.

I don't always believe in "you get what you pay for", but in this case, it is certainly true. of course, if you buy a product resold by GG, it is not going to die right out of the gate. it may never die. but piece of mind, stability, and company integrity has a high pricetag, that many people are more than willing to pay.

so while you may get more lumens per dollar spent, that is a small percentage of why someone would buy a light.

No I do not. I just believe in their products after placing a pretty big order with them and having a great experience and no problem with any of their lights

There's a reason GG isn't welcome on the site. Buyer beware...
