I took FOREVER researching and finding the right LED bulbs to replace both my interior and exterior lighting on my 2005 Doublecab OR TRD. I figured I'd list all the part numbers to make this easier for anyone else wanting to do the mod.

    Website: http://www.superbrightleds.com/

    * I am not affiliated with this website in any way, but I've ordered from them twice and they have excellent service.

    Color of bulbs:

Interior - I prefer the "Cool White" color. It gives the true white color with a slight blue hint to it. (Though it it NOT "ricey" at all.)

Exterior - For best results, select the color of LED for the color of bulb you are replacing. (i.e. - Red brakelight = Red LED; Amber = Amber)

    Bulbs:

Map Lights: 168 style (Order any 2 of the following)

    - WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb [IMG] (What I have)

    - WLED-x6 LED bulb [IMG]

    - WLED-xHP6 Wedge Base Bulb [IMG]

Dome Light: 39mm to 44mm festoon style (Order any 1 of the following; 42mm is ideal fit)

    * Note: The "high power" 6-led bulb is REALLY bright. I originally had this one, but it is a very, very slight difference in color from the WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulbs I had in my map lights. Thus, I switched to 4410-x9 LED Festoon bulb below. The color difference will probably not bother 90% of the people out there, but I am OCD.

    - 4410-x9 LED Festoon bulb [IMG] (What I have)

    - 4211-x6 LED Festoon bulb [IMG]

    - 3910-x6 LED Festoon bulb [IMG]

    - High Power 6-LED Festoon bulb (42mm) [IMG]

    - High Power 3-LED Festoon bulb (42mm) [IMG]

Brake Lights: 3157 style (2 of the following)

*Note: Make sure to order the 3157 model as it is dual-intensity. (Dual = light red for lights on, bright red when braking)

    - 25-LED 16mm Wedge Base bulb (Red 3157-R25) [IMG] (What I have)

3rd Brake Light: 168 style (Any 3 of the following)

-WLED-x5 LED Wide Angle LED bulb (Red) [IMG] (What I have)

    - WLED-x6 LED bulb (Red) [IMG]

    - WLED-xHP High Power LED bulb (Red) [IMG]

Reverse Lights: 921 style (2 of the following)

*Note: These complete the LED look, but are not much brighter than the stock lights.

    - 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb [IMG] (What I have)

    License Plate Lights:
168 style (Any 2 of these)

*Note: Anything more than the single LED (120 degrees) is overkill. However, make sure to get these. They are cheap and look REALLY cool.

    - WLED-x-x LED bulb (120 degrees viewing) [IMG] (What I have)

    - WLED-x4 LED bulb [IMG]

Front Marker Lights: 921 style (2 of the following)

    - 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb [IMG](What I have)

Front & Rear Turn Signals: I did not order lights for these because LEDs replacements require a load resistor to make the blinking work properly. Thus, you need the bulb and the load resistor hooked up together. The website does sell them, I just chose not to do it.

    Hope this helps someone!

Complete set of maps, dome, brake lights, 3rd brake light, reverse, front marker, & license plate ran about $50-60 if I recall.

It is a flat $5 S&H, so research any other cars in your family of vehicles you might want bulbs for too. They also have some cool flashlights, stick-up push-button lights and stuff too.

    Hey guys,

I know everyone is excited about these inexpensive plug and play LEDs. I will admit that they are a friendly company with fast shipping, but they do not sell the best quality parts. I bought a blue 9-LED dome light and it went out in 2 months. I also bought some amber 194 type LEDs for my corner lights and one of the leads broke off each light. I also put in blue 194 LEDs in my gauge cluster over the summer, and they are starting to get dim.

    I would try autolumination.com or Oznium.com before I buy LEDs from superbrightleds.com

    Just my $0.02.......

I think one of the reasons why my lights are getting dim is because all these bulbs are rated at 12v and my car is running normally at 14.4v, so they are slowing dying. This is why I use voltage regulators to make sure my LEDs are getting 12v exact.

I have a 2003 and I'm wanting to chage out the instrument cluster bulbs, anyone know how many LED's i'll need for the 03 and which actually work the best?? I'm really leaning towards cool white or blue... Any suggestions are much appreciated!

    Thx
