I grounded the light bar to the inner fender as well, but not to where the batt. is grounded. I guess maybe I'll try to ground @the batt. and see what happens. The dually I have mounted as a dust light is grounded to the underside of the cab and the RF noise is terrible coming off of it.

Didn't want to mount it on the crash bar so I had a buddy build me a custom bracket that is off the front of the frame rails.

If it's not too much trouble, could I get one of you guys to tune your FM to a static-ey channel (ie. no radio reception just static) and turn on your lightbar. I'm trying to find out if you can hear any difference on vs. off.

Dumb questions. These are illegal to have on while your driving on the road right?

I will try and got some pics of my bracket up in my build thread sometime this week

I will try this on the way home tonight and let you know what I find out.

Yes, this type of light is an "off-road use only" light. I pretty much turn it on if I have nothing oncoming. That's the really nice thing about LEDs is no warm-up time. On the instant you hit the switch

I can confirm that a static station has more static when I hit the light bar...

Ok that settles it, I'm in an area with too weak of FM signal. So when I turn n the light bar it overides the signal with static. So, not a ground issue for me but a lack of FM signal strength.

yes, dont use them in traffic. I see people around here running their offroad lights in traffic and it pisses me when I get blinded:mad:

My HID headlights also make static come over my radio when they are warming up. I have a good FM signal too

Direct from China but you need to buy 10 of them to place an order. Unless you can find someone in the US selling them. I doubt it though because they are infringing on Rigids patents.

Rigid actualy chimed in and said they are not alowed to sell them in the US bc of patents and if they see anyone selling them on here they will be reported. I hate to get sued over something like that...

Okledlightbars.com have great prices on their lights.

Yes this is correct. Aurora Lights infringe on Patents that we Rigid Industries have. Those Aurora lights are illegal to sell, promote, or advertise in the United States.

    Thanks,
