Do you need a drill bit to make holes for the mounting parts or do they fit preexisting holes?

It comes with preexisting holes similar to this.

I'm sure some of you guys have seen this truck. I saw it a while ago and even some of the output pics. But just stumbled on this video. I'm actually surprised I haven't seen him here on TW! But yeah, pretty f'ing crazy. Blows me away every time I see this truck. And this is just to support why I personally think vision x is THE best...
This is what has inspired me, and why I have so many lights, lol. If only I had that kind of money... So unfortunately I've had to stick with the knock off version of these from China. At least the evo primes with 10watt crees. But they are still pretty damn impressive with Cree leds versus the luminous. I hope to one day get the 43" they talk about. But I'm at about halfway there compared to the tundra output. That's close enough.. for now.. :D

Anyways... Just wanted to share this for those that haven't seen.

They did what they wanted with it. I still say they need to have 360º lighting though.

Decided to go out and do some preliminary testing of these 4.5" led cannons. It was super foggy tonight and figured this would be a one in only very few times that I'd get a chance to test them in fog, but by the time I got set up, it started to dissipate. Don't have them installed yet so I just threw them in the engine bay and messed around.
Wanted to show the beams on these things in the fog, as well as test the amber covers. Not the best pics, but I'll be doing a full review on these suckers when I get the install all done. Cant wait. These things are BRIGHT! :D The pics don't do them justice. As they never really do unless you've got the patience and a dslr, which I dont. But I'll be shooting for better pics and a vid in my review later on... Also, the amber covers are basically a diffused flood pattern. So the output really got affected with those. I think it wouldve been better with a clear/spot amber cover instead. Maybe I'll purchase some, theyre cheap.

I got my Ebay 50" radius bar mounted. Osram 5w 4d optics. I made the brackets. Hopefully I can test it out soon. I have a Zeus 20" combo and Rigid Dually spots on the bumper.

Come on!! I'm waitin to see that thing lit up yo!!

In the meantime, I took more. Just got my led cannons installed. Now, my bumper lights are aimed improperly, as they did a CRAPPY job reinstalling them at the collision center, and this isn't to show off the cannons, but all my lights. Some of the better shots I've taken. Especially the last one. It's so freaking hard to get good shots. Unless you've got a nice dslr. Which I dont, just a cheap, mid-range fujifilm. Still can't quite figure out what settings to put it on. But it'll take some nice shots, if you mess with it long enough:rolleyes:

Ha. Idk about that.. maybe some. These vision x Cree clone bars are pretty awesome though. But the two middle pictures came out kinda over exposed or something. But the last pic is pretty accurate to real output. Still don't understand cameras and which settings to use. Ha.

Edit: How much lumens are these cannons again? 1900 or something each?

Just added everything up again. With cannons if 1900 lumens, plus projectors, I'm sitting at 47,565 raw lumens right now. So yeah, I'm still only about halfway to the 99k tundra. Lol. I MAY buy another vision x clone bar and stack it on top of the other one. All spot. Then that'll put me at 69,730. Or if I get the new osram 4d bar, that'll put me at 87,565. Hmm. But I think it'd look funny having two bars stacked that are different. So if I replace my roof one with only the osram combined with everything else, that'd be 65,400... Idk, I'm liking the sound of 87k. Lol.

Lmao. I am most likely gonna get a custom bedside sticker from one of the vendors on here too.

    TRD
    NIGHT PROWLER EDITION.

Or something like that. I wanted a vinyl sticker for the back window too that says 'Got xx,xxx lumens?" But I keep adding on so I'll wait until I'm 100% sure I'm done adding. I already have more than enough. Just going for that "holy shit" or similar response/look now. Haha.

Well I don't think yer gonna find any generic, universal covers for generic China light bars. unless they make them specifically for that bar. All bar brands are different. You can't really slap any cover on there without modifying it. Your best bet would be to get some amber colored vinyl film. Laminx sells it. As well as eBay for el cheapo stuff.

I've seen a guy custom make a cover in the shape of a U kind of. With some Velcro straps looped through some slots, which wraps around the bar. But good luck forming it. Heat gun would probly work with some plexiglass. Then laminate it with the vinyl strip. That's a project tho..

Outer dimensions are all different, one normally doesnt fit the next.
