need help electrical experts

So my parking/corner lights no longer work when turn on, i wired my morimoto xb halos into them, same as i had the prior ccfl angel eyes. now heres the catch, when i lock my truck, they light up?

any ideas as to why they won't work?

 

no all i did was splice the led's into the stock parking light harness, they don't pull enough load to overload it

 

Reverse the polarity on the halos?

That's all I've got.

Yes they do, I'm wondering if I blew a fuse playing with them?

 

Me thinks you blew the running light fuse if your tails aren't working either. Not sure about the lock button but if Memario is correct and they shouldn't come on when you hit the button, then you cross wired something.

 

Mine have always flashed when I locked my truck. Lol since the day I got it

 

No but I do have the VIP alarm system if that has anything to do with my parking lights flashing lol

 

I'd check your fuses. The alarm thing might explain why the lights still flash when you lock the doors using the fob. The power to flash the lights might be coming from a different power source or different relay due to the alarm.

 

Hate to be that guy, but do any of you know which fuse it would be?

 

I'll look when I get to my truck, I blew that one several times when I hooked up to trailers with shitty wiring

It's a 10A in the under hood fuse box if that helps narrow it down!
