I've been thinking about doing that myself.

My brother has a 1981 CJ7 that he mounted two 90 watt spot lights on the back bumper. The sweet part is the manual switch he has rigged up, so when the bastard behind you have his hi-beams on, you can return the favor.

i know a guy that did something just like that to his CJ except it's a 15,000,000 candle power spot light with electronic controls.

My only trouble is that I want to flush-mount the lights in my bumper. I want this to look clean.

I found some rectangular LED lights that'll fit that tiny Gen 1 bumper, but white LEDs are expensive!
