Hey all, i recently purchased a H4 Bi-Zenon 6000k HID kit from slim, and i'm beginning to think i will need projectors for my headlights.

Does anyone know of a projector i can buy that will work with this hid kit? I went to TRS, but their email basically told me i need to buy a entire setup of their shit (ballasts, bulbs, wiring, projectors and bezels), which honestly pissed me off. I just want a projector i can install, and stick this hid kit in.

    Any help?

You're going to need at least projectors and new bulbs. I'm not 100% sure you will need a new harness or not.

the hid bulbs that you got from slim are completely different from projector bulbs. projectors dont use normal bulbs and therefore wont work with the bulbs you have, what you have work with your stock headlights, they just plug in like your oem bulbs except with the ballast tucked somewhere under the hood.

It would just be bulbs, and the projectors you would need to buy from trs.

They do have PNP kits. They are not overpriced either.

You can get the mini D2S with bulbs, and the connector for 175.

You could probably use those ballasts with the MINI H1 projectors but you would need to buy the projectors and bulbs

Sell the kit and buy a full projector retrofit from TRS... group buy going now, or if it's done, another will be coming very soon.

Quality projectors are going to use the D2S burner. Some decent projectors can use the H1.
The H4 Bi-xenon is totally incompatible with the projector design.

He would need an adapter to use D2S bulbs
