DDM HID... questions!

So i have come to the conclusion that i want to get the DDM HID kits. I have read a lot about them, and they seem to be the best for what I'm looking for.

But i still have a few questions:

My shipping and billing address are different, so i can't buy the lights from the DDM tuning website, i was wondering if there was another reliable distributor?

Also I want to run Lo's and fogs, 55w 6000k. And my question is, do i need the wiring harness for both? or just the lo's? or just fogs? or do i even need the wiring harness at all?

Also if i do need wiring harnesses for the 55w, if i go down to the 35w, do i need the wiring harnesses?

Don't need relay harnesses, but it is safer to run them

what do you mean by safer? just by regulation the voltage into the ballast?

Too much juice through stock wiring.

However, 55W should not be used without projectors, and most will argue not even 35 W w/out projectors. I use the 35W in mine, and do not blind oncoming too badly, but I have them aimed considerably down. Also, with 55W in the fogs you will be generating a ton of heat and may melt the housing.

Finally, 6000K will be bluish and not the ideal color temp for maximum light output, you should use 4500K which is closest to white. For the fogs you could go 3500K which will be yellowish.

DDM's high/low kits include the relay harness anyways so you'll get one with the kit for your headlights. As for the fog lights, that's up to you. Personally I would run one. Worth the extra $15 for the peace of mind. That way you know you won't melt any or your stock wiring.

I was going to use the 55w because the last vehicle i had read the 35w as a "bulb out" and stopped all power going to the lights and gave me major issues. basically not allowing me to run HID's in the head lights.

So if the tacoma's don't have this issue, i will definitely just get the 35w for both my fog's and head lights.

I know the color of the 6000k, and like having them for both my fogs and my head lights, but i will get the harness just to be safe like you said.

Call your credit card company to add your shipping address as a second address on file.
