If I were to add aftermarket fog lights with the OEM switch and OEM operation settings (low beam headlights on fogs on, high beam headlights on fogs off) would it hurt the resale value of the truck?

Most people wouldnt ever notice. They would have to know their stuff to figure out it wasn't standard. Especially if you used oem switches. IMO

    It will increase the value.

It won't increase the value, trade or sale, but it will only hurt the value if the hood is popped and the wiring is a hacked together rat's nest.

Okay so I'll keep it neat and take my time, plus I could always remove them if I resale the truck.

I am installing a plate bumper, and I am going to lose my factory fog lights. If I were to put an LED light bar in the bumper, could I connect it to the factory switch in the dash?

You could use the wiring for the stock fogs.
