Well not exactly, but with any luck I'd total the truck and still be able to drive it back to civilization. The lights are for the cows, etc... the bumper is just all around.

Just to give everyone a heads up since I know you are talking about a group buy about the Aurora Lights. These Aurora Lights are illegal to sell or promote in the United Sates. You can face legal trouble from both us and the Patent company. They infringe on patents that we Rigid Industries have on our optics (Patent #'s 7,438,447 - 6,986,539 B27,114,832 b2) In the US. Im just trying to help everyone out and give you a heads up so you don't have any legal problems down the line since I have been monitoring this for some time now.

If any of you have any questions regarding this at anytime please feel free to PM me.

    Thanks,

Good info, looks like a direct ripoff of your product and 'embellishing' the stats a bit to make them look a little better.

The led bar has 6- 35' modules and 2- 20' modules. So 6 flood and 2 spot. If they were all spot then they would be as bright or brighter than headlights. We had a 6 head installed over the weekend but didn't get a night shot yet. I will work on getting night pics. And module count. The HID in the pics are not a stock headlight. The 6 head will be.

Your thing to compare hid lights to LEDs. Not possible. The HIDs put out more light and are in a larger focused lens. HIDs and halogen lights will outshine led bars for years to come. They just haven't caught up yet in terms of distance. This is why I still have 8 halogen/hid lights facing forward and no LEDs facing forward.

I believe they will catch up at so,e point..but they aren't there yet and the bars that are close cost over a grand and are 42" or longer. Ill stick with the 100 buck have have int two hella 500 55w HIDs. They just aren't cost effective yet. LEDs make good short/med ranged fill/floods tho.

But ats just my opinion and my thoughts.

Meh, for the cost of all that, I'd just go with Halogen or HID and make the headlights obsolete. :D

If anyone still wants to do a group buy, there isnt anything stopping us from purchasing them. I have imported from China for a long time, customs is cheap, about $70 for a 1k order, so this would be nothing and shipping by DHL for such small product size and weight wouldnt be more than $100.

It appears as if Cooper Industries, the lighting company, owns one of the patents that you listed, another is owned by Fujitsu and the third I could not find. I know Cooper Industries is a light manufacturer, so I assume they are making the lights for you as a private label. If that is correct, they would need to pursue a patent infringement case, but I could be wrong. Nonetheless, we are still in our right to purchase the lights from Aurora and whoever owns the patents would have to seek restitution from them. I am sure Rigid is a great company and it appears you sell quality products, but for the discussion here, everyone is looking for lights to use that are reasonably priced, which Rigids are absolutely not, and your scare tactics are fruitless.

I went with a 10" bar in the center and mounted the smaller dually leds out wide to add more horizontal adjustment. The coverge left, right, and center is perfect, nice and wide with no holes and the light output is very strong. Rigid Industries.

okledlightbars.com. Bought 3 from there already and maybe getting more sometime. Amazing quality lights, amazing price, fast shipping, amazing customer service. Highly recommended. There was a group buy on here not too long ago with his lights.
