I only use mine when weather or night driving conditions require it...but if someone thinks that their truck looks better with them on all the time...more power to them. Personal taste is just that...it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks about it. I'll always offer and accept anyone's opinion but in the end it's about what I like for me.

Only at night, but that might change when I switch to HID's. So depends.

If you have the relay wired correctly it shouldn't burn the switch out. Just enough power to flip the relay on runs through the switch, while the main load to power the lights runs through the relay. Unless you're drawing enough power to fry the relay and short the switch...

"Fog lights on or off?"
This question is as useless as asking, do you prefer blonds or brunettes? Does it really matter, I like them all! Especially redheads.

on or off /well where i live it's illegal unless weather permits germany will ticket you for anything i use them for night driving since there are no street lights on the autobahn untill you reach a city or town,or rest stop other than that it's pitch black and perfect for hid lights or even daylighters if you can get away with it

To those who leave their fogs on:

Check with your state laws to see if they are illegal to have them on during clear weather.

I have been pulled over and issued a warning for having my fogs on.

I was driving back home from Amarillo, TX one night. Just before I crossed the Oklahoma panhandle border, I ran into a whole bunch of blowing dirt and visibility was poor. So I turned my fogs on. I kept them on since I felt I was able to see better, plus it was around 12:30am on a weeknight so there wasn't much traffic. After I went through Guymon, OK and the police stopped me. As soon as he got to my window he told me to turn off my fogs. Turns out, in Oklahoma, having your fogs on while visibility is greater than 1/4 mile is illegal.

More states are incorporating this law, so just a heads up.
