Fog Lights On or Off?

I didn't see a poll for this so I said what the heck let's do one. Do you prefer to drive with your fog lights on, off or depends when driving at night?

There was a guy a few weeks ago that pointed out not only are fogs annoying and label you a poser, but they're illegal to run in traffic.

Since I have the HID headlight & foglight installed.
I only turn on the fog light when it is bad weather... the HID head light should be bright enough...

The problem with fog lights (in my opinion), is that lots of people drive with them on all the time, but they fail to take into account that they have to be aimed correctly, just like headlights do. This is especially a problem with lifted full-size strucks (I'm talking about you, Super Duty owners!). They shine right in my eyes whether they're in front of me or behind me. It gets dangerous driving at night when your night vision is being thrown out of whack by all that bright light.

I know everyone has their reasons for having them on and off, but there's my two cents. Take it for what you will.

I always have them on. I have mine wired into my parking lights and leave the switch on at all times. when I open the door to get out of the truck, the lights automatically go off.

I like it so I do it. To each their own. It helps with visibility to oncoming traffic and I would prefer not to run my headlights at all times...

I run mine all the time- but like Dustin said-aiming them right is vital.

Off. I have them on for Fog, snow conditions, or night winter conditions when the lighting is poor so I can see the curb edges better and avoid scuffing the sidewall. Otherwise it's a waste and you look like a goddamn tard.

"that guy was stupid though, he tried to talk shit about having your foglights on in regular weather.."

Wow, I didn't think I would hurt anyone's feel-bads over that?
Who knew it would be such a raging hot button issue?
I pledge to run fog lamps on a clear night as a gesture of friendship and international solidarity. Yes! Our fog lamps can!
