DDM hid's with mini H1's

I'm looking into upgrading to hid's in my 2000. I really want to do the mini h1 complete 5000k retro kit from TRS but I can't really swing the $270 right now. I've had DDM hid's before and was happy with them. Would I still be satisfied with the results if I put DDM hid's in the TRS mini h1's? Another group buy from TRS would be really nice because it would bring the kit down to $202 but I just missed the last one and don't know when there will be another. If anyone else has this setup please post a picture.
