Gauge swap tips

I'm ready to change some of the leds in the gauge cluster and was hoping others had some good tips before. I am decently experienced with soldering.

 

there are several writeups around here, on toyotanation and on xr-underground.

 

I searched here but didn't find any and I'm not on those other forums but no big deal I'll figure it out whenever I decide to do it. Thanks though

 

what do you exactly want to know?
even tho youre not on those sites, doesnt mean you cant see the write-ups and "how tos" on it

 

Finally finished my swap and have to give Jerez a huge thank you for the technical support. My advice for anyone without a lot of pcb soldering experience is to give it to Jerez or Yosh. I had soldering experience and I struggled. My original iron was too hot and had to get a 40watt and desoldering vacuum to fix a few melted LEDs.

I'll get a picture tonight. Went with all white/oem red needles. Also swapped everything else to red or white. Just need an 09 clock to finish.
