Led exterior on the turn signal and parking lights. HID w/ projector retrofit on the headlights. And if you can an HID reverse light.

What are your thoughts about just going with higher output bulbs?

I use the Silverstar Ultra on the T4R and I use to use Raybrig bulbs on my EP3 before I did a HID retro. The Raybrigs are brighter than the Silverstar and they are perfectly fine. Just don't put HID lights on the stock housing.

Not that I've noticed. Haven't had a stock bulb go out on me. Well I take that back. My D2S bulb went out after 5 years.

Are you talking about aftermarket replacement halogens or HID's? Hid's should last awhile. If you put something like Silverstars in then yes they tend to have less of a lifespan compared to your stock bulbs. I've heard them go out after a year in some cases. I personally have Silverstars in my fogs and headlights and have gotten 2 years out of them before having to replace. Had both a fog and a headlight go out. I don't mind getting 2 years out of them. I don't feel like doing the work to do a retrofit which is the only reason I haven't gone HID. I had HID's in the regular halogen housings in previous vehicles and would never do it again, especially on a truck which sits higher and in my case is lifted a few inches.

Aftermarket Halogens. Do you really think it's worth changing , if it only last a year or so?

Im looking around for fog bulbs as well.
I have always used hella yellowstar or osram all-weather.
Just having a hard time finding them in this bulb size.
Excellent light output for fogs.
