I was searching to see if the led in the overhead console could be changed and found this in the lighting FAQ:

"Can the over head console temp/compass control be changed?

No, The Overhead console is a VFD display (think 80s VCR). The color is light green and turned orange from color embedded in the lens."

So that answered my question. But now I have a new question. lol. With the lens being embedded with an orange tint is that like on the clocks for the 08's and earlier that can have the tint buffed out? Is it just a white display behind the tint?
