Look at Baja Racks . They make a flat utility rack that looks pretty nice. Not as big as yours but....

I spoke to Sergio at Baja Rack . Yes He will be making one for the Tacoma
It wouldn't hurt to call them and keep a little fire under it , to get it done. He said about 4 weeks
it would be a sick addition to an already bad ass truck . I hope you get it and post up

I'm very interested in this rack with the movable light bar.

    Couple of questions...

Can I ask, what is the size of the arc that the light bar can rotate?
On the video, it looks more that 90 degrees,
( because in the video the bar goes high illuminating a rock wall? then
lowers to face the beam down range.)

Those motor/servos/actuators you used for the light bar, can they handle
vibration well, or is the system too delicate to go off roading with?

I'd really like to buy something like this for my truck, I need a large
bar at night, that's out of the way during work.

    Thanks muchly

The light bar can rotate about 110 degrees. Plus you can adjust it too high and bring it into the spot you like.

I wheeled my truck for about 9 months with a much smaller actuator, with absolutely no problems. Sedonafest, Ouray Colorado and the trails in AZ. After that is when I decided it would work for production. The actuator we use now is much more stout than the original. The original was a 15# actuator . The one used now is 150#, just to overbuild it for durability

    Good question for sure
    thanks
    Don

    Update
I did some reconfiguring to my lighting with the addition of one more light.

I actually decided I was bored with my Road Armor front bumper, that has been on my old FJ, then my new one for 6 years.

After looking over all the bumper choices I decided to go with a local company (Mesa AZ ) Additive Desert Designs

Here are a few shots of the new bumper and the monster light

    DSC02026_zpsd2b9bd14_f9064f25933d9216b669ba335ec6bf4627d510be.jpg

    DSC02018_zps3f489504_93be9cf1b3f392a9fa3bc9930935b2e9f3cdb6eb.jpg

The new light is the Baja Designs 30" ONX Pro
I had it configured in all spot beam , since the 40" Stealth is 80% spot 20% flood. The stealth has 14,400 lumens . The ONX is 19,200 lumens. I thought the Stealth was really bright. The ONX is incredible
As you can see, the amber 20" stealth is inside the new bumper along with the 2 squadrons on the corners . I ran out of relays, so the 20" and squadrons are (at least for now) are on the same relay.

Old thread, but has anyone actually seen the baja rack with spylight on a tacoma? Where they ever made? I have searched and searched. Baja rack doesn't list it at their website. A local shop has one they used for a show and I can get it for $500 with wiring and switches. I'm just concerned its not actually the one for a tacoma because he said he had to drill when installing. I thought it bolted in the holes for the factory rough rack?
