Rigid Industries Dually D2 HD's

Hey everyone. I'm about to recieve a pair of Rigid Industries Dually D2 HD Spots tomorrow and recieved an email from Rigid saying I need to have a relay. I contacted them to make sure of this and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of relay I would need for them. Please note, I'm not that good when it comes to wiring and such, but have buddies that can do it for me. I just need to know what kind of relay I need. Thank you in advance guys if you can help.

That's what I've read before. They have the wiring harness and everything being sent, but I guess they don't come with the relay. I've read other people having the same problem. Again, I'm not that knowledgable on lighting wiring, so please excuse me for that.

Same here, i'll snap a pic of my relay, i imagine its just a standard one as the LED's don't pull too many amps or anything

Much appreciated. They said I'll need a relay because of the switch itself is only a 1 amp switch.

I imagine this would do, but honestly i'm not good at wiring either so i'm not completely certain and would hate to steer you in the wrong direction.

Is the 24 volt relay the same that you use on yours? Cause if so, then I'm sure that should do for a pair of D2's.

The regular D2's are 20 watts with 1.45 amp draw, and the HD's are 17.5 watts with 1.2 amp draw.

The posted relay will work. I just put two sets on spots and fogs.

Awesome. Much appreciated. Did you have to do any rewiring for the relay to be put on?

I didn't use the switch that rigid supplied I bought 2 OEM dash fog light switches and wired them in but the supplied switch is easy to wire straight in.

If it is a NEW kit it will come with a harness, relay, and switch.
