I dont know if this is the right place for this... but i have a 2012 and i noticed lastnight that the lights next to my shifter, around my a/c controls, anf the preset buttons on my radio are not working. I have tried turning the lights on and off and also restarting the truck but nothing. I have not checked fuses... and yes it is under warrenty... but if it was a simple fix i would do it myself.

    Any help would be great!

Are your cluster lights off too? If so check the dimmer switch if not its an ign fuse left side of dash

Most likely is the tail lights fuse. That's my 1st guess. That fuse is located in the dash behind the change door thingy on the left side.

Checked the dimmer, the cluster is working as normal.

Same problem here today. I parked my truck Friday and cleaned the interior. When I drove to work today, all of the lights (cluster/radio/AC) were out. My radio was set to AUX, so I didn't hear anything. Long story short, it was the dimmer. I've had cars that I could dim pretty low, but the Tacoma can turn them off completely. I did have fun checking all of my fuses before I found this thread.

I checked my dimmer as well, but my guages dim along with the other lights... and those are working fine.

Just bought it and didn't realize I have the same issue. Just checked the fuses and they are all good to go. Anyone got any other ideas?

Same here. Can't find any faulty fuses. Shifter lights, radio side buttons and trac control buttons and buttons by there not illuminated.
