1st gen halo projector headlight help

    so this whole weekend ive been sitting here searching the internet for halo projector headlights for a 1st gen tacoma more spicific a 2003 tacoma. and its dricing me insain because all i can find are ones that cover up to the 2000. has anyone found or does anyone have halo projectors on a 03-04 tacoma. if so where can i order them from. ebay google and bing were all busts so im stuck in a rut.

    i honestly rather buy something i dont have the time to take apart the headlights and make something fit. i use the truck everyday and dont have nothing else to drive while its sitting there taken apart. any other ideas or places to look

    well ill just buy new housings and use my HIDs i already have.

    so ive been looking and the retrofit doesnt look all that complicated so i think i will go with that choice so im buying projectors and shrouds that are led halo friendly soon

    yea from what i saw on the install pictures it looks like all u do is make a bigger hole in the housing and screw the projector in place cover it with a shroud and seal it back up and thats all thats to it

    For the D2s like i=I have All I had to do was screw the projector in no cutting required

    the kit i am looking at is from the retrofitsource. which includes the projectors HID kit w/ ballasts the shrouds for the projectors and halo/angeleyes, and all the wires and install info. for around $350 which is a little more than i was expecting to pay but its cheaper than custom headlights

    Those look like the FXRs for the H1s either way theretrofitsource is amazing with cusotmer service, no complaints from me about them

    I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my 03 taco. How did it go? Was it pretty easy to install? Did you go with new wiring and harness or did you retro fit a new headlight assembly?
