I don't like HIDs that don't have an HID reflector. They seem to spill light everywhere and blind oncoming traffic.

isnt that what the head light assembly does, or do you need some kind of extra reflector for hid or is it a new headlight assembly. i was under the impression that it costs about $500-$1500 to convert reg headlamps to hid's. could be wrong. i already have silver star sylvania head lamps so they are plenty bright, almost feel bad for cars in front of me and oncoming. so i dont know if i even want to go any brighter. thanks for the reply

your current reflector is designed for halogen bulbs. You can get a direct replacement for around $100, but you'll probably be blinding people. I've seen people do the full replacement with an HID designed reflector so that you get a clean cut off line and won't blind people as much. Those are $350+
