My initial vote is down, but I'm on the fence. Posts in my build thread and at work are 50/50.

i'd put them up, especially if they're the pencil beams, you'll get more light down the road

Not a bad idea, but I got the tabs on the Avid and want to try them out first. :D

Both "looks" look good, but I really like the way the lights line up with the fog lights in the first picture.

Actually, have you put any thought into behind the grill? Would look sweet on your truck! ;)

Thanks for the opinions. I put both on it this afternoon and sat there in front of it. I think I've decided on down. The beauty being if I don't like it, I'll just flip them around.

I got the wiring kit in the mail today, but the damn place sent amber covers instead of yellow...... Oh well, the new lenses are on the way.

As for behind the grill, I have thought about it, but I want to try the Avid first. Besides, I dont think the 170 Strykers will fit behind the grill.... :-/

    3 reasons for up......

    1. They will shine further in the up position.
    2. They will be better protected further up.
    3. Depending on when your lights were produced.... The rubber gasket around the wires can leak if they are upside down and the water will ruin your lights. Ask me how I know heh heh. Though lightforce did a great job replacing mine.

My 2 .... Or 3 cents heh heh

    Function > looks
