I suppose, if we could somehow get a long list of people interested in a cased version over the existing naked light, we could consider pulling in the time-frame.

In the mean time, I will be working on the case designs. On that note, if you guys have any suggestions, now is the time.

I am in to pay $25 for a cased version. Also something to light up the bed with a manual on/off switch, waterproof, and easy to mount would sell since there aren't really any choices out there and Toyota doesn't believe in putting a light on the top mount brake light to shine into the bed

Brighter will be difficult as the LEDs are already running at 3V.

As for dual colours, I expect the cost would outweigh the demand. As it stands now, the recent requests for a cased version will certainly drive the price up. I'm not yet convinced the investment will be worthwhile. As we develop products, we struggle to find US based companies to produce our items at reasonable prices.

We are nonetheless working on designs for a cased version. If the mold cost is reasonable, a cased version may be introduced very late this year, or early next year.

So far, there are about 6 on TW willing to pay upwards of $25 for a cased version.

 

I think I will be purchasing 2 naked's and a v2w. Would the case be able to be added later or will it change the design of the naked version?
