Hey guys, I'll preface this topic with yes I have checked out the mods page and ran across the tutorial for adding lighting to the cubbies in the bed. It's a great mod in my opinion but I am not by any stretch any kind of an electrician. I don't really have the tools or the skill set to (confidently) attempt it. But for the time being, until I get a little more practice, I was considering putting puck lights in the cubbies, something like this:

    http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100671582?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051&N=5yc1v&R=100671582

They are a little less functional than wiring the lights to the truck but I was more worried about them sustaining weather conditions (not sure how the cubbies are sealed). Being as cheap as $16 for three, I'm not too worried about having to buy a new set or tossing them if they are shit. Just curious for any opinions.

I went this route until I get around to rewiring my canopy. The pucks in cubbies worked great.... til my headlamp died while camping and I stole the batteries from the pucks. Havent replaced em yet.
