    Just a few LEDs...
I have a few more pics in my gallery. I liked the ones above the headlights so much I used matching LED strips in the mirror light lenses.

The lights in the hood scoop are connected to a controller so I can make it scan back and forth. People usually don't have too much trouble seeing me at night.

    nice!

i only added these so called "raptor lights" because technically it would be illegal for me to drive my vehicle.
when a vehicle is wider than 80 inches you must have those 5 lights up front and 5 red in the rear reason why duallys and big rigs have them
ill be adding 5 red leds in the rear soon

    Thanks!

The Big Ford F250s do it for the same reason and also use the lights on the mirrors as 2 of the 5 lights ( the other 3 in the grill) I thought It was pretty useless to have the turn signals on the mirrors only visible from the back and side which is why I added strips to the front. I made a mod to have the signal lights in the mirrors on all the time with the parking lights while still working as turn signals by turning off if they are already on.

I'm going to try the ones from SuperBrightLEDs because a little bird said they were brighter. Will upload pics when done!

Project was very straight forward, used some old speaker wire that I had laying around and had a good afternoon tinkering with my truck. Love the way it turned out. Up next is Led parking lights and the confusing DTRL mod.

Not sure if these were discussed or not. Or if anyone would want these versus the other smaller ones. Because these are led 'projector' bolts, and they would have to be drilled into the plastic. And they would protrude out a little and not be as hidden. Or you could make a small 'L' bracket or something in your grille to support them if youvdidnt want to drill holes in yer grille on the outside.. But yeah I have a bunch and I love them. Mostly because they are insanely bright. They sell them on eBay pretty cheap. But they are also cheaply made and the little glass projector lens has fallen off on me on a few of them. But from superbrightleds.com they are better quality and also have a 2 year warranty. But they're $5 a piece. Not bad if u want only a few. But I have 16 of them installed. And putting an addtl 4 in as well later. So if I was to replace all with the better quality that'd be $100! Lol. I use the majority of them for turn signal 'strips' in the headlight filler panels and others are used for drl's. I have posted pics elsewhere and haven't done any writeups for them, but I can take some more detailed shots if anyone's interested.
    Anyways here they are...
12mm bolt beam (superbrightleds.com) (called 'led eagle eye' on eBay)

If you have a 2011 grille I highly recommend doing it the way I was told by a member on here. I think it may be a little brighter, but each looks great. I have instructions in a PM that I could send if needed

I ordered some blue ones for mine to match the rest of my lights can't wait to see em in action, not sure if I should slice into the parking lights or have them switched separately since blue on the highway can cause problems. they should be in after the holiday weekend! :woot:

Yeah blue is illegal isnt it? If you cant run them on the highway then would they just be for off-road?
