I just installed some hella black magic off road lights and they are working great. However now my headlights are not working high or low beams. The parking lights and turn signals are working but not the headlights. I've checked the bulbs and they seem fine and the fuses are ok as well. Any ideas?

Thinking it may be the headlight relay?

How did you wire your offroad lights?
Specifically, the trigger wire from the OR Lights relay.

Because, if you tapped them into the Tacoma HEADLIGHT HARNESS you may have blown some fuses from the fuse box under the hood....

We wired it up to the parking lights. They still work. Just replaced the headlight fuses. The headlight relay switch and still not working. One thing we noticed is that if you turn the parking lights on the dash lights up and so do the parking lights. When we put the headlights on and put the high beams on neither te headlight or blue light lights up on the dash

The power to the switch goes through the parking lights.

What year is your truck? 99? Does it have daytime running lights?

I really doubt you suddenly blew a relay. I would start with checking all fuses in the interior and underhood fuse boxes that have anything at all to do with the headlights.

Other than that, I would need a wiring diagram to narrow it down. Perhaps someone has one......

Try un-hooking your new lights, see if the headlights start working again. If they do then its something in your install.

OK, first off, when asking for help, a full description of the vehicle can help expedite information. 4WD or 2WD? Automatic? Standard? What size engine? etc...

Assuming a 4X4 automatic with the 6 cylinder engine:

The headlight relay is controlled by the body control computer. Input request is sent from the headlight switch to the Body Controller, and then the Body Controller energizes the relay. Just to make sure all fuses are checked, please check the following:

    10A IG1 No 2 fuse.
    7.5A ECU-b fuse.

After checking both of those fuses, get you a 12V test light and work backwards. Sure, the headlamp fuses look good, or have been replaced, but is there POWER at those fuses? Check with test light. If there is no power at those fuses then find the headlamp relay and check for power at terminal #1. If no power there, get access to the connector on the headlamp (Do NOT unplug it) and with the headlamps turned on, check for power at the pink wire. This is the signal to the body controller. Lets start there....
