I am looking to do a projector/HID headlight swap and am looking for information about using a 2013 assembly since I am unable to find any 2014 assemblies for my truck.
Do they match up? Is there any special mods I need to do in order to swap them?

I've been researching the retro-fit also, & 2013 & 2014 headlights should be exactly the same...

So you're essentially just putting brighter halogen bulbs in your headlights?
Brighter is fine, but without the cut off that projectors provide, your halogens will just be throwing light everywhere and blinding oncoming traffic as well.
Here is a picture of the cut off line for the projectors that I use; Its very prominent and allows your to have extremely bright lights without blinding anyone

Unless you are running hid/led in the halogen reflector, the cut off is extremely sharp. The cut off goes to hell when you run the wrong bulbs in a reflector designed for another light source entirely, which is why you have to convert to projectors for HID. Halogens in a halogen reflector will have sharp cut off, just they way Toyota engineers designed it. I've got nearly 2x stock lighting power, never been flashed and have no problem following a police crown Vic at night.
