Cop banged me for third stop light

    lift, shocks, skid plate, Tube Bumpers w/hitch off road lights, 17" tires Brush Plate
    I bought my truck with the third stop light painted but still light shined through it. Is there a law that says light on the third stop light shall be unpainted? I thought as long as it shines through it was acceptable. If not OK does any one have a plastic unpainted lens for a 2005 taco third stop light I can buy to get this cop off my ass. Thanks!

    Can't remark on Utah traffic laws but I can say if the P.D. is going to bust your nuts for that you may want to inspect your truck. Windows legally tinted, license plate unobstructed,nothing hanging from the rear view mirror, etc. The cop isn't going anywhere and you have to drive through his town. My town is the same and I live a block from where they like to sit.
